16 People Share Awful Examples Of Boomer Home Décor And We're Laughing A Little Too Hard
"Those 'Live, Laugh, Love' signs."
A person born between 1946 and 1964 is referred to as a "baby boomer." The baby boomer generation accounts for a sizable fraction of the global population, particularly in developed countries.
As of 2019, it represents more than 21% of the population of the United States of America. One thing boomers are famous for is their approach to the world's problems from a position of security and privilege.
Essentially, they were born after WWII, when their fathers and grandfathers managed to secure a better world (no matter how bad it is now, it was even worse back then). It was a period of massive reconstruction, a booming economy, and improved social care.
People enjoyed better job security and could afford to buy homes with only one working family member. Wives were usually stay-at-home moms, while husbands provided for the family.
And they love to tell millennials how to live their lives, giving them advice that might have worked when they were young but is seriously outdated now. Now, it's payback time. It is our turn to criticize them.
We will start with the way they decorate their homes. Sixteen people shared the things they hate most about boomer décor. Take a look:

And before you start condemning them, just look at modern homes. They all look alike, don’t they?
That’s what trends are all about: people doing the same thing…
