Ariana Grande’s Red Carpet Intruder Just Got Thrown Out Of A Lady Gaga Concert And Fans Are Done

Weeks after the chaotic Wicked premiere incident, the same fan tried his luck in Brisbane. The crowd’s reaction said everything.

Ariana Grande’s red carpet nightmare has a sequel, and fans are not here for it. The same “Pyjama Man” who crashed the Wicked red carpet in November just got escorted out of a Lady Gaga concert in Brisbane weeks later, and it looks like security is done playing games. He even posted a selfie about it, claiming the show was not starting until 8 pm and that the early fans were booing him. Even better, footage shows him trying to disguise himself, with a security guard on each arm trying to keep things under control.

And if you’re thinking this sounds familiar, it’s because it is, Ariana Grande’s Singapore incident is the reason fans are side-eyeing him so hard.

Pyjama Man, also known as the influencer who invaded the Wicked red carpet back in November, clearly hasn't learnt his lesson, after being removed from a Lady Gaga show in Brisbane just weeks later.

The popstar took her Mayhem Ball to the Suncorp Stadium on 9 December, where Pyjama Man (real name Johnson Wen) was escorted out by security before he even managed to get up to his old antics.

Wen confirmed the incident on Instagram, posting a selfie with the caption: "Got kicked out of Lady Gaga concert! The show doesn't start until 8 pm! The early fans were booing me."

Other footage posted online shows Wen in disguise with a security guard on each arm.

Fans of Wicked: For Good stars Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo were left stunned and angry on Thursday (13 November), when a young man somehow managed to storm past security and rush towards the “thank u, next” singer during the Singaporean premiere for the second and final part of the musical adaptation.

In footage which continues to circulate online, Grande, Erivo, Michelle Yeoh, and Jeff Goldblum were seen holding hands and walking down the yellow carpet when the man grabbed hold of Grande and began jumping up and down next to her.

Erivo was filmed pulling the man off Grande before comforting her in the immediate aftermath. As a result, he's been deported from Singapore to Australia, where he attended Gaga's concert, after serving nine days in jail.

Unfortunately, this is not the first time this invader has made headlines and shocked high-profile celebrities.

Who rushed over to Ariana Grande in Singapore?

The individual has since been identified as Australian influencer Johnson Wen, also known as Pyjama Man, who took to his Instagram Stories in the run-up to the incident to declare Grande is his “best friend”, that he is “going to meet her” and that has been “dreaming” about doing so.

Dabbing in a shopping centre, Wen later shared that he was “free after being arrested”.

Citing local outlets, BBC News reports that Wen has been charged with being a public nuisance.

This isn't the first time he's been spotted storming stages around the world. A fundraiser was set up by Wen to “pay off” his bills back in July.

It is yet to receive a single donation.

Why is he called Pyjama Man?

In addition to branding himself a “Troll Most Hated”, his online alias is “Pyjama Man” – a reference to the colourful outfits he is seen wearing in his social media videos.

Who and what has Pyjama Man appeared at before?

Unfortunately, this isn’t even the first time that Wen has made headlines for a stage or pitch invasion, and for rushing up to celebrities.

Over the years, he has also appeared at or with:

  • The Lionesses’ Women’s World Cup Final: August 2023
  • Virat Kohli at the Cricket World Cup Final: November 2023
  • The Men’s 100m Final at the Paris Olympics: August 2024
  • The Weeknd: October 2024
  • The Chainsmokers: December 2024
  • Katy Perry: June 2025
  • Ariana Grande: November 2025
  • Lady Gaga: December 2025

Erivo and Grande have not yet commented publicly on their incident.

Why is he called Pyjama Man?

That Wicked Singapore stunt, where Wen rushed Ariana Grande during the premiere and Cynthia Erivo had to physically pull him away, is still fresh in everyone’s minds.

It feels like a student refusing parents who wanted $10,000 in loans in their name.

After he got deported from Singapore to Australia following nine days in jail, he somehow turned right around and showed up at Gaga’s Brisbane show.

The wild part is Wen was already bragging on Instagram that he was going to meet Grande, then showed up in disguise like this was all part of the plan.

Now he’s been escorted out of the Mayhem Ball before his “old antics” could even start, and fans are done making excuses for it.

Moments like this spark bigger questions about boundaries, fan culture, and the thin line between attention-seeking and genuine danger. Public figures already carry the weight of constant visibility, and incidents like these only remind people how fragile those spaces can be.

Most fans show up to celebrate the artists they love. But it only takes one person to change the tone of a night.

As clips of the Brisbane removal bounce around online, many are calling for stronger protections and a bit more accountability. If this story made you pause, pass it along and see what others think!

Fans are done watching Johnson Wen treat celebrity events like personal meet-and-greets.
