30 Pictures of Popular Cartoon Animals That Have Been Recreated to Look Like Real Animals Will Totally Amaze You
An artist named Dito von Bother reimagines the animals from cartoons and creates more advanced paintings of them.
Most of us watched cartoon shows on our television screens when we were little, and some still do now. Many have fallen in love with cartoons to the extent that they sometimes behave like their favorite characters.
An artist named Dito von Bother reimagines the animals from cartoons and creates more advanced paintings of them. These artistic creations are the result of the artist's imagination of what these animals would look like if they were living creatures.
Dito von Bother is the nom de plume of a digital artist who lives in Bologna, Italy, and keeps his real identity hidden. He was educated at the best Italian schools of communication, design, and fine arts before embarking on a dual career as an independent digital artist and an art director for major advertising organizations.
The artist states that he uses digital painting to recreate 30 animals from cartoons as living creatures and has created a large gallery that helps us remember sweet memories from our childhood. Dito added that he selected them directly from the '70s to the present, spanning comical shows to cartoons, from Italy to the rest of the world.
He attempted to give them their looks, soul, and poses, resulting in images that resemble actual animals cosplaying their respective animated characters. Keep scrolling to see 30 of his creative paintings below:

The artist further stated that he showed the paintings to his 4-year-old child, named Alessandro, and he recognized practically every one of them. Dr. Susan David, an emotional agility expert, explains, "Children's ability to recognize familiar characters can significantly enhance their emotional and cognitive development." This connection to beloved characters may indeed help children identify these creative representations. So if you were shown these live, creative paintings, would you be able to recognize them?
