17 Celebrities Reveal Morning Routines That Help Them Get Through The Day

"Drink water and take my chlorophyll, Wobenzym, and theanine." Sounds great!

We all have our morning routines, and celebrities are no different. They have hectic schedules, and that time alone in the morning is sometimes all the time they have for themselves.

And they make it count. By nature, not everyone is a morning person.

However, by creating a good morning routine, anyone can make peace with the early hours of the day. If you haven't started your own, you've probably seen celebrities publish their morning routines on social media because they're as ubiquitous as avocado toast.

Yes, morning routines are all the rage, but experts say there's nothing wrong with creating small rituals that help you get out of bed on the right side. There are two schools of thought regarding morning rituals.

The first suggests that you should take it easy, relax, and start with the smallest things. The second (more radical) approach states that the best thing to do first thing in the morning is "to eat a frog."

This means that the worst item on your to-do list should be tackled first thing in the morning. Needless to say, this school of thought is not supported by many.

We have created a list of 17 celebrities and their morning rituals. We hope you find it helpful.

5. Whitney Port

I usually wake up to the sound of Sonny calling for us. Either Timmy or I will go get him (we loosely switch off each morning), we change him, and all lay back in our bed for a little while. Literally, just like 5 minutes. Sometimes Timmy and I have a "family meeting" where we discuss what our individual to-do lists look like and make a plan for how we are going to accomplish them. I get up, make myself hot water with lemon, take vitamins, and get Sonny something to drink and a light snack (since he isn't really hungry in the morning). Then we try to do a worksheet that Sonny's school has sent him. There are some variations each day, but that is pretty much what the first part of my morning looks like.5. The first thing I do in the morning is walk my dog because he follows me around and stares at me until I do it. I make my bed. I am all about accomplishments, and as [retired United States Navy] Admiral William H. McRaven says, "If you make your bed in the morning, you will have accomplished the first task of the day."13. Genevieve PadaleckiGenevieve Padalecki

14. Rachel Naomi Hilson

Boil some water for tea and check on my balcony plants! I just got these new loose teas from a Black-owned tea company called Nya Tea (which can be found at the Hollywood Farmer's Market or online!), and it's my favorite morning ritual. I've been trying to get up early because the sun is in full swing by 6:30 or so these days. It's nice to have a quiet moment with my tea and my plant children (the ones that are still alive :/) before I get started with my day.14. Rachel Naomi HilsonInstagram

The first thing I do is drink coffee and focus on being grateful. I have a hard time waking up some mornings, but the smell of coffee alone energizes me. I like to take the time to slow down, drink my coffee, and think about the things that I am truly thankful for in my life.17. Camila CoelhoInstagram

It's crucial to create a routine that matches your way of living. To put it another way, don't drink green juice if you don't like it.

If a three-mile run as soon as you wake up sounds like agony, your PJs' slow morning stretch routine might be more your speed. Whatever your daily routine entails, the idea is to develop regular habits that help you feel more robust and intentional in the face of whatever the day throws at you.

So, create your own routine; don't copy someone else's.
