Son Unceremoniously Kicks His Estranged Mom Out When He Changed The Locks Of His Home While She Was On Vacation

His mom kicked him out when he was 17 years old because he kept reminding her new boyfriend whose house it was.

It's difficult enough to experience losing a parent at such a young age. On top of his grief, this son, who was 15 years old at the time, had to adapt to his mom dating someone new just two months after his dad's death.

His parents were not married, and his late dad left everything to him while leaving nothing for OP's mom. She tried to manipulate OP into giving up some of his properties so her "new dad" could feel welcome in the family.

OP couldn't do that even if he wanted to because his dad's final will specifically states that OP can only access his inheritance once he turns 21. His mom's new boyfriend had two kids of his own when he entered the relationship, and OP's mom favored them over OP.

For example, when they went on vacations, she would hint that OP would do better if he stayed with his grandparents instead. She didn't say it outright, but OP knew that she didn't want him to come along.

When OP was 17 years old, she kicked him out of his own home because he kept fighting with his new dad. OP frequently reminded him whose house it was and called him John Conroy.

OP had to stay with his grandparents, who advised him to avoid confrontation. His mom visited him and told him how much she loved him but said she had no choice but to keep the peace at home.

OP is now 23 years old. He just finished college and checked which properties he can renovate to rent out.

The house his mom was staying in was a prime rental, and the income would help pay for OP's master's degree. He went to visit his mom's home, but nobody was there.

OP found out they were on vacation, and he tried to contact her to inform her about his plans. OP changed the locks while they were away in order to take possession of his property.

When they arrived and couldn't get into the house, they tried calling OP, who was out of town. When he went to the place to inspect before the renovation work started, his mom cornered him.

She began yelling at OP, asking how he could do that to her. OP informed her that they had two weeks to vacate the property.

OP's "new dad" was furious, while his mom and the "new dad's" pregnant daughter began crying. OP's maternal side of the family began shaming him for his actions, but OP's mind is made up.
