Chik-Fil-A Manager Calls Police On A Couple Complaining About Limited Number Of Sauces
"We Were Literally Just Asking For More Sauce"
A Chik-fil-A manager allegedly called the police on a couple over one of the most ridiculous things imaginable, sauce. Yes, sauce.
Here’s the messy part, the manager reportedly claimed there was a strict rule, only five sauces allowed on a $60 order, and it was enforced like it was written in stone. The couple asked for extra sauce, the manager said no, the tension escalated, and then the police got involved. The woman said she started recording because she was “in shock” that anyone would call police over something as small as dipping sauce.
Now everyone is debating whether the manager was following a real policy, or if this store was just having a very sauce-related moment.
A Chik-fil-A manager called the police on a customer who was reportedly angry about the restaurant's policy of only allowing five sauces on a $60 order, according to TikToker @adelelaresee.

The whole thing kicked off when the couple, @adelelaresee’s video says, pushed back after being limited to five sauces on a $60 order.
The couple wanted more sauces for their order, but the manager insisted on enforcing a strict policy of only allowing five sauces per order. An argument ensued, and the manager eventually called the police and told the couple to leave.
The woman stated that she started recording when he called the police because "I was in shock that he actually called the police over sauce," she said.
Then the manager doubled down on the “strictly enforced” rule, and the simple request for more sauce turned into a full-on argument.
The couple claimed that they were not causing a disturbance and were simply requesting more sauce. Many commenters expressed surprise at the restriction on sauces and stated that they had never experienced any limits on the number of sauces they could receive.

And here is the reply to the comments:
After the couple started recording when the call happened, people watching online were left stunned that police were even part of the sauce equation.
And now the comments are split, with some saying “that’s plenty” while others swear they’ve never heard of any sauce limit at all.
Well, you've seen the videos of the incident at Chik-fil-A. Do you believe that the manager was justified in calling the police over the couple's request for additional sauce?
Company rules are company rules. However, it is quite possible that this particular restaurant was low on sauces, which is why this manager cited it as company policy.
Either it was a real policy, or that manager picked the worst possible hill to die on, the sauce hill.
