21 Christmas Illustrations By A Comedic Artist & Writer That Will Make You Feel All Festive And Merry For The Upcoming Holidays
These cute Christmas illustrations are truly a must-see!

'Tis the season of joy and giving, and most people around the world are thinking of something great to do to spread love and positivity for the holidays. Anything that spreads festivity and joy is a welcome contribution in this cruel world we live in.
That being said, Christmas is all about everything, and that includes creativity. Steve Nelson, a comedy writer and aspiring illustrator based in Brighton, UK, certainly fits that category. He started a series of Christmas illustrations after the pandemic gave him a lot of spare time to whip up his hands and draw.
According to him, Christmas has been kind of weird lately, so he decided to have some fun by creating a virtual advent calendar on his Instagram in the form of funny and festive illustrations. And sure enough, he delivered!
However, he quickly realized that coming up with 24 Christmas illustrations was a lot harder than he thought, so most of his works were actually the product of last-minute drawing sessions just to catch up with the schedule. Finishing the drawings was extremely stressful for him, but in the end, he managed to produce excellent works.
Nelson is actually the creator of the Audible Originals comedy series called The Temp, and he was also part of BBC 2's Watson And Oliver, ITV's Off Their Rockers, BBC Radio 4 Extra's Newsjack, and BBC Radio 4's The Show What You Wrote. He has also co-starred in his own sitcom in the pilot episode of Unforeseen Circumstances on BBC Radio Comedy.
He says he has always loved drawing, so he decided to translate his comedy into illustrations for a change, in contrast to his writing stints. Even with his strong credentials, he grew tired of writing and wanted to try drawing as a medium for his jokes instead.
