Delivery Driver Calls Cops On A Customer Because She Thought "Her Kind" Couldn’t Own A Golden Retriever

Requesting or ordering food to be delivered to your home usually goes well without a hitch. You click a couple of buttons on your mobile phone, utter a few expletives when it takes longer than the application predicted, and before you know it, you get to indulge in whatever you ordered while watching a good movie on Netflix.

However, a Reddit user named "Agent Papier" had an experience that was far worse than you can imagine. This Redditor had a rough day and decided to sit back and let the TV entertain her as she devoured a meal she didn’t prepare, which meant she had to place an order.

The OP added that she had a golden retriever who loved to play with her neighbor's dog, so they shared a fence with a doggy door. Fast forward to when the delivery young lady who brought her order arrived and saw the OP with the golden retriever.

The lady had the bizarre notion that a Black person couldn’t own a golden retriever, so she became suspicious of the OP. Consequently, she chose to be the hero of the day by saving the dog, calling the cops, and trusting that they would return it to its owner.

You know, since people of color supposedly raise maniacs and psychos, they can’t help the good, law-abiding citizens of the country fight crime. Fortunately, the police who arrived at the scene were more sensible than the racist who called them, and everything was finally settled when it was ascertained that the dog did belong to the OP.

The fact that the delivery girl thought that the OP’s "kind only owns pit bulls and Rottweilers" is really shocking, and to think that there may be others out there who think the same way is truly heartbreaking. Indeed, the police stopping the young lady on her way out of the area was something to be thankful for.
