Man Teases Wife With Fake Proposals Throughout Disney World Since She Hates Making A Spectacle
Fun makes a relationship work...
A 28-year-old woman, Kelly, thought she could finally enjoy Disney World like a normal guest, no spotlight required. Then her husband started staging fake proposals in the most public places imaginable, right in front of the castle, with the kind of grin that says he’s about to make her panic.
The gag is always the same, he catches her with affection first, she tries to wiggle out of it, and then he commits fully, dropping to one knee outside the castle, in the Marketplace, and even while they’re stuck in line at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and The Crystal Palace restaurant. Every time it happens, Kelly looks irritated and embarrassed, like she’s trying to escape the scene without ruining the day for everyone else.
You can catch a glimpse of him gazing at her with affection outside the famous Disney castle or at various other spots throughout the park. His eyes are filled with love and mischief, all part of a shared joke that's theirs alone.

And then he playfully goes for it as she attempts to pull away with a mix of amusement and mock desperation:

He approaches her excitedly as she takes a moment to sit and relax:
He playfully drops to one knee in the bustling Marketplace:
And while they're in line at Disney's Animal Kingdom, she finds herself trapped with nowhere to run:
And there's also a playful proposal to remember, staged inside the bustling environment of The Crystal Palace restaurant:
Watch the video:
Right after the camera catches him staring at Kelly with love and mischief outside the Disney castle, the prank ramps up fast.
This is the same kind of relationship spark as the person who surprised their partner with a gourmet chef dinner without consent.
Just when Kelly tries to sit and relax, he approaches excitedly like he’s about to “surprise” her again, whether she wants it or not.
In the Marketplace, he drops to one knee in the middle of foot traffic, and Kelly’s mock desperation turns into full-on public dread.
Kelly appears both irritated and embarrassed every single time he pulls this prank, yet he just keeps going. The person behind the camera, though their identity is unclear, seems to be in on the joke as well, laughing uproariously at every faux proposal. The shared amusement adds to the spectacle, turning each bended knee into a comedic performance.
The unsung hero:
Every time...
Even worse, in line at Animal Kingdom and inside The Crystal Palace, she’s basically trapped while the faux proposal turns into a comedy performance for bystanders.
Things don't seem to be letting up for Kelly. Now that this montage has achieved mega-viral status, it's unlikely he'll ever stop this playful act.
Her trips to Disney World, or anywhere for that matter, will never be the same. She can probably expect these faux proposals to continue for the rest of her life. The only way to potentially put an end to it might be a very different proposal altogether!
At this point, Kelly’s real fear is that the next “proposal” will happen right before they even reach the rides.
