EPCOT Fans Spot a Quiet New Queue Scene at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
A quiet EPCOT update adds a new Remy, Emile and friends queue scene to Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure for guests in line.
Disney parks fans have a new small detail to hunt for at EPCOT. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has picked up a quiet queue update, letting guests spot Remy, Emile and their friends preparing for the grand feast while they wait.
For Disney fans, part of the fun here is that nothing about this arrived with much noise. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure has a new effect in its queue, and it is aimed squarely at guests spending time in line before they board.
Guests can now see Remy, Emile and their friends preparing for the grand feast while moving through the attraction’s queue. It is a small addition, but one that changes the wait itself for anyone heading into the ride at EPCOT.

The discovery was shared on X by Disney fan account @DrewDisneyDude. In the post above, the new moment appears in one of the queue’s backlit lattice windows, where the scene plays out in silhouette.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is the trackless dark ride based on Pixar’s 2007 film Ratatouille. Guests are shrunk to the size of a rat and ride in ratmobiles through Gusteau’s restaurant in Paris. The attraction also uses temperature and scent effects, and it originally combined large-scale 3D screens with physical sets before Disney later replaced the 3D element with 2D visuals after a closure last year.
The ride is in EPCOT’s France pavilion in World Showcase, inside the Parisian square expansion of that area. It opened on October 1, 2021, the same day Walt Disney World began its 50th anniversary celebration.
The Florida attraction is based on the original version that opened at Disneyland Paris in 2014, in the park now called Disney Adventure World. For guests visiting EPCOT now, the immediate change is simple: there is one more Ratatouille detail to catch before the ride begins.
