Woman Ordered Drinks From DoorDash And Received Three Empty Cups - Apparently This Happens Often Due To Some Companies’ Policies

We've all heard crazy stories about fast-food deliveries, like orders that arrive entirely wrong or drivers who get caught on camera helping themselves to a handful of fries.

Recently, TikTok user Bonnie (@for.shitz.n.giggles) shared a video showing the Taco Bell order she received via DoorDash. The woman can be heard laughing in the video as she explains the situation.

You see, Bonnie and her family ordered three Gatorades with their food. But what arrived instead were three empty cups.

Bonnie's TikTok has received more than 474k views, with many commenters letting her know that DoorDash drivers generally don't have to fill the cups. "It's on the restaurant," one commenter said.

"I used to do DoorDash, and sometimes the restaurant gives us the cups to fill ourselves, but according to DoorDash, we're not allowed to," another viewer explained. Apparently, it's a health code violation for DoorDash drivers to prepare drink orders.

Well, okay, all of that makes a lot of sense. But why wouldn't the driver have questioned the restaurant about the missing drinks instead of just taking off with three empty cups?

Surely, they would have noticed the cups were empty. Did they not even wonder why the customer would have ordered some empty plastic cups?

What's your take on this story? Do you think it's strange that the DoorDash driver would deliver three empty cups without even questioning it?

Or was the driver just doing their job, in which case the restaurant is to blame? Either way, it certainly seems odd that the driver wouldn't have at least said something before delivering the unusual order.

But hey, perhaps the DoorDasher just thought the customers needed some plastic cups! After all, why not order them from Taco Bell and get some dinner at the same time?
