Young Man Gets Too Drunk And Wanders Around The Dorm Hallway In His Boxers Looking For The Girl He Came Home With
"Tune in to find out if it was the girl behind door #1, 2, or 3!"
A few drinks can turn a normal night into a story nobody forgets, especially when college parties and bad decisions mix together.
That is exactly what happened to one Redditor, who went home with a girl he met at the club, then woke up so drunk he could not remember her name, her face, or even which dorm room he had come from. What followed was a very awkward search through the hallway, made worse by the fact that he was only wearing bright orange boxers.
Luckily, the other women in the dorm were willing to help him out, and the whole thing somehow turned into a funny late-night rescue.
Here's how OP F-ed up
Silly_Donut_362The night started with some drinks and meeting a stranger
Silly_Donut_362Things moved fast after that first round of drinks.
They both headed to her place afterward since it was closer
Silly_Donut_362
Around 4 a.m., without thinking twice about it, OP sleepily made his way to the shared bathroom in just his boxers
Silly_Donut_362
That is where the trouble really started.
When OP tried to head back, he realized that he did not remember which room he came from
Silly_Donut_362
He tried knocking on the door in the general direction of where he thought he came from
Silly_Donut_362
The one who opened the door was not the girl he came home with but was willing to help
Silly_Donut_362
She asked for further descriptions about the girl to narrow down the choices
Silly_Donut_362
But OP could only provide the shade of color she had; they knocked on the wrong door, and now two people were trying to help him
Silly_Donut_362
At that point, the search had turned into a hallway group project.
Finally, after the same thing happening again, they knocked on the right door
Silly_Donut_362
They all laughed about it, but OP decided to take a nap again for a while
Silly_Donut_362
If OP hadn't been so drunk at that time, he would have been more mortified
Silly_Donut_362
The girl who helped him was nice enough to find it funny instead of slamming the door in his face

Not every dorm story ends with that much patience.
And if you think your night ended badly, this AITA involves a friend who trashes a hotel room and refuses to split the bill.
Turns out, this isn't OP's only embarrassing drunk story

Someone who knows a thing or two about getting locked out in a compromising manner could feel OP's pain

It was a miracle that he didn't get out earlier

But was he okay after this? Did he even feel it?

At least in OP's case, no one knew him in that place

OP was not so lucky to not remember the events and the person he was with the night before, but he was fortunate enough to knock on the door of someone who was willing to help him at 4 a.m. The comments that followed the story showed how many people understand what being that drunk feels like.
Maybe we’ll be able to witness OP’s next funny drunk story next time in another Reddit post.
