Ed Westwick, aka our favorite smug menace Chuck Bass, just did something extremely wholesome in real life. The Gossip Girl star is engaged to Amy Jackson, and he popped the question on a romantic ski trip in Switzerland, because of course he did.

The twist is this is not some fresh-from-zero dating montage. Westwick and Jackson have been together for two years, they met at an Aston Martin race day, and they went public on Instagram in June 2022. Now they’re announcing the engagement with Amy’s caption, “Hell YES 💍,” while also dealing with the fact that Amy already has a four-year-old son with her ex, George Panayiotou.

And if Chuck finally found his Blair, the next chapter could be even messier, cuter, and more dramatic than Gossip Girl ever was.
