Man Teaches His Entitled Parents A Lesson After They Stole His Cooling Units And Demanded They Switch Houses
Some parents just have a way of overdoing things.
A good number of us have it awesome: we have supportive and loving families that we can always rely on. Tragically, not everyone is that fortunate.
The miserable truth is that there are certain parents who don't necessarily have their children's well-being at heart. A Redditor named "u/Plop Tart-Throwaway" from Arizona shared a shocking story about his entitled parents, who wanted to exchange houses with him.
When they didn't get what they wanted, they chose to adopt an improper strategy and, surprisingly, violated the law. You'll need to get yourselves some tea and prepare to blow up at the foul play.
Well, the Redditor starts by explaining how his parents began treating him differently the minute he became a teenager. While childhood autonomy is something worth being thankful for, these parents took it excessively far as they demanded a huge chunk of their child's paycheck.
Also, when he didn't play by their laid-down rules, they evicted him. It was their own biological child. Finally, the OP got his own home, which was not far from his parents' house.
It was at this point that the parents concluded that they needed to exchange houses. Yes, you read that right, and their reason was that they were embarrassed by the way their child was doing better than them.
Well, they got a solid "NO" after being laughed at. Nonetheless, it wasn't the end of the story, as what occurred next was tremendously shocking.
A redditor shared a story about how his jealous and entitled parents crossed every one of the lines
Alena Darmel (not the actual photo)The OP's folks yet again asked for his cooling unit since theirs broke, and he declined. Then, his home was broken into, and the inside was a wreck.
The funny thing is that his cooling units were stolen, which his parents denied doing anything wrong. But thank goodness for the neighbors' CCTV that captured the incident, and they had to pay the price.
Here’s the full story below.

Framing the apologies
u/Plop-Tart-Throwaway
It's really disheartening to see parents become so greedy that they're willing to blame everything on their own children if that will get them what they want. They choose to believe that their children owe them for life since they raised them, but why give birth if you can't cater to them?
Such a belief is an entitlement that has gone way too far.
