Little Girl Does Not Like Her Name So She Wrote A Letter And Raised Her Own Money To Change It

One little girl decided her name no longer fit, and she did not just complain about it, she made a plan. At 5 years old, Charlie Paige set out to become Charlotte, and she was determined to make the change happen on her own terms.
Her mom shared the story in a two-part TikTok video for Women's History Day, showing how Charlie researched the legal process, wrote a persuasive letter, and even started selling friendship bracelets to raise the money. The only thing standing in her way was getting both parents fully on board, which made the whole situation a lot more complicated than a simple nickname change.

She narrated how Charlie, at 5 years of age, wanted to revamp her name from Charlie to Charlotte.

So she began to research how to get what she wanted.

She wrote a persuasive letter to further convince her parents.

Soon enough, Charlie did some research on what she needed to do for her name to be legally changed. She found out that she needed to go to court, pay around $200, publish it, and have her parents agree to the whole process.
So she decided to raise funds by selling friendship bracelets.

She was really determined to make things happen!

Even if the name change is not official yet, you can't deny that Charlotte's determination and intelligence are wonderful traits. She will grow up one day into a woman who will always know her worth and will always fight for what she wants!
