Little Girl Does Not Like Her Name So She Wrote A Letter And Raised Her Own Money To Change It

Kids are definitely a lot smarter than we believe them to be. Sometimes they blurt out the weirdest things, but if you think about it, they often make sense.
Some parents try to control what their kids say, but most of the time, they can't help the fact that their kids are individual persons with their own personalities, too. That's what these parents realized after their daughter insisted on changing her name—for all the right reasons.
The parents were not convinced at first because they loved the name they gave her, and the little girl insisted further by writing a persuasive letter to her parents to help them see why it would be beneficial for her to change her name. Eventually, the girl grew tired of convincing her parents and decided to take the matter into her own hands.

She narrated how Charlie, at 5 years of age, wanted to revamp her name from Charlie to Charlotte.

So she began to research how to get what she wanted.

She wrote a persuasive letter to further convince her parents.

Soon enough, Charlie did some research on what she needed to do for her name to be legally changed. She found out that she needed to go to court, pay around $200, publish it, and have her parents agree to the whole process.
So she decided to raise funds by selling friendship bracelets.
She was really determined to make things happen!

After this happened, the mom definitely came on board with the idea, but the real challenge now is trying to persuade the dad to allow this to happen. Charlotte can be seen sporting a backpack with her new name on it, which was made by Dad, so it seems like she has already got this!
Even if the name change is not official yet, you can't deny that Charlotte's determination and intelligence are wonderful traits. She will grow up one day into a woman who will always know her worth and will always fight for what she wants!
