Guy Who Doesn’t Comprehend What "Deposit" Means, Gets Badly Trolled
Some people deserve to get trolled, seriously.
Some people really do not understand the difference between a deposit and a refund, and this Imgur exchange proves it fast. A freelancer shared a conversation with a potential client who kept pushing back on a basic payment term, even after it was explained more than once.
What starts as a simple question about canceling turns into a messy back-and-forth over money, trust, and who actually owes what. Once the client refuses to let it go, the tone shifts, and the trolling begins.
It gets petty in the best way, and the final messages make the whole thing even funnier.

5. A business school card comes into play...
A deposit secures a spot...

That is when the conversation starts going off the rails.
6. And the trolling begins
He asked for it.

The client still does not seem to get it.
That “I thought it was fine” logic is similar to the friend who refused to repay trip money.
7. At first, he wasn’t aware of being trolled.

He keeps pushing for the same answer anyway.
8. He still insists on getting his deposit back.

9. Go back to school. You are unprofessional and immature.

Now the insults are flying too.
10. The business bureau and his cop uncle are going to take over this case of fraud.
The what?

Don’t place a deposit if you aren’t prepared to lose it, I guess!
