Redditors Are Cracking Up At A Boy Who Dished His Brother-In-Law’s Food On Tiny Toy Utensils
"If you want to act like a helpless child, you'll be treated as one."
We all know that life isn’t a bed of roses, but that doesn’t mean we have to sleep on its thorns. At some point in our lives, we must learn to stand up and defend ourselves, especially when it comes to abuse (and I mean any type of abuse).
Just because you’re married doesn’t mean you have to endure emotional trauma from your partner—someone who can’t offer a helping hand even when you’re carrying their own flesh and blood in your womb.
This is what the OP’s sister in today’s story had to endure in her marriage. The OP, named u/THROWAWAYBIL20223, shared his story on the AITA subreddit community.
According to him, he moved in with his married sister, whom her husband treats like a slave because he is the "breadwinner" of the family. OP’s sister is six months pregnant, and the husband still expects her to do every little thing for him.
On one particularly fateful day, the husband demanded that OP’s sister serve him food at the dining table, and she was too exhausted to get up (mind you, the food had already been prepared). The OP then offered to help dish out the food, only for him to serve his meals on tiny toy plates. The Reddit post went viral with more than 27K upvotes and over a thousand comments. Here are some of the most upvoted comments by Redditors. It can be annoying to see a loved one treated badly by their partner, so the OP’s actions are somewhat understandable. It must have been a really funny scene, as the OP’s sister had a good laugh. What are your thoughts about this post? Did the OP step out of line with his actions?
