Man Gets Roasted For Posting An Illustration Showing Appreciation For The Obstacles Women Face In The Workforce
Of course, people have something to say about this issue because it's so common for women.
So, when a man posts a tweet about appreciating the obstacles that working women face on a daily basis, you would think that would be a good thing, right? You would expect him to be praised for being so kind and thoughtful, wouldn't you?
Well, usually, yes. But in this case, not so much. You see, here's where Indian businessman Anand Mahindra went wrong. He posted a cartoon image by Carlin, Peru's most popular political cartoonist, titled 'Meritocracy,' which depicts the obstacles women face in the workforce and in everyday life.
Anand was struck by the image because he had recently babysat for his young grandson, which made him realize how challenging life can be when you have to balance work and home! So, Anand felt compelled to tweet about it.
Of course, people had something to say about Anand comparing his own experience to the obstacles women have faced for centuries.
