50 Hilarious Times Kids Showed Their Clueless Side
Kids say the darndest things.
We all know that a child's brain is like a sponge that soaks up pretty much everything it hears or sees. Another thing about children is that their minds are not limited by logic; if you tell them that Santa Claus travels the world in one night, they won't see anything wrong with that.
That's because kids trust the adults in their lives, like their parents or teachers, and they can't fathom the fact that those adults would lie to them. Kids usually listen to what their parents tell them, but if they hear a word they don't know, they'll just connect it to a different word that they do know, leading to a lot of confusion.
And since logic isn't a concept for kids, they won't think twice if their parents tell them that they're taking a trip to the South Pole. The disappointment they must feel each time something like this happens must be devastating, but they're kids, and they'll bounce back.
Actress Daisy Haggard tweeted about something like this that happened to her, and tons of Twitter users hurried to add to this thread by sharing their own experiences with little kids not quite getting the message.

51. So many kids expect carriages
This avalanche of stories that was started by a simple tweet was just amazing to read. A child's brain is so fascinating and often leads to some hilarious situations like the ones we've just seen.
Some of these stories show just how much influence Disney has on kids, as so many of them expect to see horse-drawn carriages all the time.
