21 Mixed-Race Celebs Who Clearly Won The Genetic Lottery
Love knows no color, but we certainly appreciate these diverse backgrounds.
According to recent data, 2.9 percent of the population in the United States is mixed race. Diversity is beautiful, and it is best exemplified by the children who come from mixed-race marriages.
They are simply gorgeous. There is no denying that they possess a unique charm and aura—it's as if they inherited all the best genes from both gene pools.
When the United States' anti-miscegenation laws were repealed in 1967, 3% of all newlyweds were married to someone of a different race or ethnicity. Intermarriage rates have gradually increased since then.
By 1980, the proportion of intermarried newlyweds had nearly doubled to 7%. By 2015, the percentage had climbed to 17%.
In 2015, there were over 670,000 newlyweds who had recently married someone of a different race or ethnicity. The entertainment industry does an incredible job of portraying these values, as evidenced by the actors, models, and singers we admire.
As we mentioned, they have something about them that makes them incredibly appealing. We have created a list of 21 celebs who hit the genetic jackpot, and we know you will find it interesting.

The likelihood of marrying a person from a different race is related to education. In 2015, newlyweds with at least some college experience were slightly more likely than those with only a high school education or less to marry someone of a different race or ethnicity.
While 14 percent of individuals with less education were married to someone of another race or ethnicity, this percentage jumped to 18 percent among those with some college experience and 19 percent among those with a bachelor's degree or higher.
