10+ Of Our Favorite On-Screen Couples That We Wish Would Reunite Once Again For Another Movie
Because their chemistry is unmatched!
Sometimes, for a movie to truly touch the hearts of the viewers, actors must have insurmountable chemistry that radiates from the screens they are watching. A good pairing off-screen is essential for their characters to build something pivotal and significant on-screen—and in a way, that's a key factor that truly drives a movie or a TV show to success.
Contrastingly, there are also many shows and movies with pairings that have... well, little to no chemistry. Take the characters Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley, for instance, played by Daniel Radcliffe and Bonnie Wright—their scenes in the last two movies are so physically painful to watch and are embarrassingly different from their chemistry in the books!
In some cases, it's the writing that is at fault, but oftentimes, it all boils down to how much chemistry is budding between two actors. Because no matter how bad the script is, if two actors possess the "it" factor, they have the greatest potential to carry the movie from start to finish.
There have been many on-screen couples throughout the years that were so good and so fulfilling to watch that fans just wish they could have hit it off in real life, too (although we did get plenty of on-screen couples that made it off-screen, but that's another story). Sometimes, when nostalgia hits, a thought arises that we would like to see them once again for another project in the future—but even though that seems highly unlikely now, one can still dream!

1. Chris Colfer & Darren Criss
To this day, the chemistry between Kurt Hummel and Blaine Anderson in Glee still goes unmatched. It's quite easy to love the couple, though, because they were played by Darren Criss and Chris Colfer—and their chemistry is to die for!
Not only that, their duets were amazing. It's a shame that Blaine had a cheating storyline along the way because it was so out of character for him.
We still want to see the duo together and have them recreate their on-screen magic in another musical!

Jenna and Matty from the film 13 Going on 30 are still one of the most iconic couples from the 2000s movies. Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo had the greatest chemistry that was perfect for their relationship in the film, leading us to beg for a sequel since then.
There's no sequel in the works, though, but fortunately, Jennifer and Mark worked together on The Adam Project, playing Ryan Gosling's parents.

3. John Krasinski & Jenna Fischer
The friendship between Jim and Pam, played by John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer, was something special, and it truly showed. It was sweet watching their relationship grow throughout the seasons of The Office.

4. Jennifer Lawrence & Liam Hemsworth
You're not the only one who was disappointed that Katniss ended up with Peeta in The Hunger Games. Sorry, Josh Hutcherson, but Jennifer Lawrence's chemistry with Liam Hemsworth as Katniss and Gale was just unmatched.

There may be Meredith and McDreamy, and Izzy and Denny, but one of the best couples in Grey's Anatomy is definitely Owen and Cristina. Kevin McKidd and Sandra Oh's on-screen chemistry just surpassed all the other couples.
We'd love to see their work together again someday...

Rachel and Nick, portrayed by Henry Golding and Constance Wu, brought so much chemistry to the set of Crazy Rich Asians. We can't wait to see them on the big screen once again!

Cry-Baby may have been a controversial film, but it was definitely carried by Johnny Depp and Amy Locane's chemistry. There's something so magnetic about the forbidden love trope that makes a film all the more entertaining, regardless of some issues.

Everyone became obsessed with Noah and Allie from The Notebook in 2004 (and up until today!). But let's be honest, if it weren't for Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams capturing the hearts of many, it wouldn't have been as iconic as it is.
The two actually dated for two years after the release of the movie, so it goes to show that their on-screen chemistry developed off-screen, after all.

Of course, Ryan Gosling is just that kind of actor. When he played Sebastian in La La Land alongside Emma Stone's Mia, fans were left swooning again with their romantic relationship.

They definitely make a sexy and gorgeous couple, and we feel like the remake shouldn't be their only project because they have a lot of potential right there!
