30 Recruiters Who Embarrassed Themselves While Trying To Employ Someone
You'd think that recruiters would do their research before hiring someone... turns out some like to embarrass themselves.
Some recruiters manage to make a simple hiring process feel like a comedy of errors. In this story, the same company that let someone go turns around and calls them again for the very same role, which is awkward enough on its own.
That mix-up is only the start, because the rest of the screenshots show recruiters making wild assumptions, forgetting basic context, and embarrassing themselves while trying to fill jobs. The reactions are just as sharp, and a few of them land hard. Read on.

It also reminds me of the coworker who revealed a secret crush during team-building and got avoided at work.
That would've made me very angry.

Well, I guess you can't escape a little embarrassment, but this is a bit too much! How can you contact someone you just let go a couple of days ago?
How can you ask a hired employee to refer someone for the job they're holding? It's beyond me, honestly.
Recruiters really have to do their jobs well. I mean, that's the bare minimum.
You were hired to recruit, so the least you're expected to do is know who you're calling! If recruiting was as easy as calling random people, don't you think companies would have automated the process?
When you're healing from resignation and suddenly you get a call from the same company that let you go about the same role you were hired for...
It's an unbelievable mix of feelings, to be honest. Not only would you be mad, but the feeling of being replaceable really gets to you.
