People Disclose 30 Real Reasons Corporations Don’t Want You To Work From Home Anymore
They are, sadly, very right.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about many changes to the way we live and work, and one of the most significant was the rise of remote work. When you work from home, it affects not just your job but your entire life.
We all had to make new arrangements and learn how to balance work, parenting, errands, and more. However, we adapted and even discovered some advantages.
Sure, there are many more distractions, and it can be challenging to draw a clear line between where work ends and life begins, but we are managing it much better than we expected. It has provided us with valuable time to spend with our families, and we've learned to appreciate the little things (like getting outside to see the sun once in a while).
President Joe Biden urged people to return to work during his State of the Union address, stating it was time to "flood our beautiful downtowns again." The president asserted, "We can put an end to the school and business closures. We have everything we need."
On the other hand, people aren't overly enthusiastic about it. With so many individuals demonstrating that they can perform their jobs just as well (if not better) from home, and with gas prices continuing to rise due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, it's no surprise that some are unhappy with this decision.
We explored the reasons why on social media, where individuals have been voicing their grievances.

Gallup's State of the Workforce survey of over 9,000 American workers in May/June indicated that 91% of workers in the United States who spend at least a portion of their hours working remotely hoped their ability to work from home would continue after the pandemic. Hybrid work was the most popular option.
Overall, 54% of respondents stated they would prefer to split their time between working at home and in the office. Only 9% wanted to return to the office full-time, while more than a third (37%) preferred to work from home exclusively.
