Workplaces and offices are ecosystems of their own, and special rules apply there. All those people jammed into those cubicles, typing all day long, can't be natural.
It's a jungle out there, and like in any jungle, you have to be careful, or you will get eaten.
Long hours, managers who think empathy means bringing coffee to the office from time to time, entitled customers… The list of work-related stressors is very long.
But, unfortunately, it is getting longer and longer. We all need a place to unwind and vent about work.
And since our family and friends are getting a bit tired of listening to our stories (which all sound the same to them), we have to find another place to blow off some steam. Luckily, the internet is a very big place, and there is enough room for all of us to complain about work until we drop.
Some say that the internet is 30% porn and 20% pet pics. We would add that work-related memes make up the remaining 50%.
And they are beneficial for everyone. Besides being a pressure release valve for those creating them, they enable the rest of us to see that we are not the only ones who have problems at work (this is such an understatement).

These memes make us want to laugh and cry at the same time because they are so relatable. But all jokes aside, if you don’t like your current job, you should consider alternatives.
