6 Portraits Of Disney Animal Characters Artistically Made Out Of Food
Pluto made from hot dog buns is such a genius creation!
A 28-year-old artist took six Disney animal characters and turned them into edible portraits, and the results are so specific you can practically taste the character traits. Marie is all cotton candy body, licorice lashes, gummy whiskers, and a rock candy bow, like someone decided “cute” needed a full pantry makeover.
Then Pluto shows up wearing a patchwork of hot dog buns, hamburger buns, salami, provolone, olives, and rye bread, while Pascal is basically a salad that somehow still looks like him. Flounder goes full ocean mode with blue raspberry candy, licorice eyebrows, lemon gummy details, and hard candy bubbles, and Arlo gets a green pepper head, pear and jicama eyes, zucchini mouth work, and garlic teeth.
And just when you think it can’t get weirder, Olaf is built from white rice with seaweed paper features, a daikon tooth, a carrot nose, and mochi eyes.
1. Marie
Featuring white maple cotton candy for the body, black licorice laces and wheels for the eyebrows, eyelids, and lashes, black raspberry gummies and marshmallows for the eyes, a gumdrop nose, sour blue gummy belts for the whiskers and mouth, rock candy and sour watermelon gummy belts for the collar and bow, sour grapefruit slices for the ears, and a mix of foil-wrapped chocolate and hard candy for the hair bow.

4. Flounder
Blue raspberry Airheads, blue raspberry licorice twists, and blue sour gummy belts, with sour bottle gummies for the tail and blue rock candy for the fins.
Black licorice forms the eyebrows and mouth, while marshmallows serve as the eyes. Lemon gummies add detail as the nose, cheeks, and eyelids, and hard candies mimic bubbles around the fish.

Marie’s face is basically a candy roadmap, with black raspberry gummies and marshmallows doing all the heavy lifting for those eyes.
It’s a lot like hiding a dog’s allergy after a pet-sitting disaster nearly risked the pet’s health.
Meanwhile, Pluto’s “classic dog” look is recreated with actual food stacks, buns and deli slices included, so he feels like a sandwich with a backstory.
Flounder then flips the vibe, going bright blue with Airheads and licorice twists, while the hard candy “bubbles” make the whole thing look like it’s swimming.
Finally, Olaf ties it all together with rice and seaweed paper for the expression, plus daikon and carrot parts that somehow land perfectly on his frozen grin.
Well, this was awesome. Her work is a reminder that Disney's storytelling magic extends far beyond the screen, inspiring artists and fans alike to explore their creativity in new and exciting ways.
