Man Finds Out He Wasn't The Only One Who Got A Heartless Rejection Letter From a Prestigious School

Truly, words can either make or break someone's potential to achieve greater things.

Jonas Jödicke thought his portfolio was strong enough to impress a prestigious art school in Berlin. Instead, the rejection letter he got back felt colder than he expected, and it quickly turned into a bigger conversation online.

The Berlin-based artist had applied for Fine Art and Visual Communication, only to be told his work was not considered art by the university. Even so, he kept building a career that later caught the attention of major companies, which made the rejection sting even more.
