Arrogant And Egoistical "Highly Gifted" Kid Has Been Told The Painful Truth By Her Older Brother And The Online Community Is In Support
There are people who feel they can be friends with you because you’re not up to their level
If you’ve come across people who feel they can be friends with you because you’re not up to their level, then you’ll understand today’s story. A 19-year-old Redditor by the name of u/PeanutButterCupula has taken to the AITA Reddit community to share his story and find out if he was at fault.
According to the story, his 13-year-old sister is classified as "moderately gifted, bordering on highly gifted," but she is "incredibly arrogant and egotistical." Her school would call for a parents' meeting because she refused to socialize with anyone and was rude to other students, but her parents always brushed it aside.
It so happened that their parents asked the OP to pick up his sister from school, which he did, but the girl wouldn’t stop ranting about how she was paired with a dyslexic kid who was "stupid and always makes excuses without trying hard enough." Well, the OP had enough, and just when they got to a red light, he faced her, called her name, and said, "You aren’t friendless because everyone else is intellectually inferior."
You’re friendless because of your nasty attitude. You may think you’re the smartest kid in the room, but you won’t get anywhere in life until you learn to treat people with respect, much less make friends."
This statement made her stay silent throughout the ride, but what happened next? Stick around to find out.

Something’s wrong somewhere when one starts to think that everybody in the room is at fault except for themselves. You see, some people place themselves as high and mighty because they feel they have a "higher IQ," which gives them the license to treat every other person like trash.
