Bibian Blue is the creator of these beautiful dresses, as she says that butterflies have been a source of inspiration for her for a long time.
She mentions that she has two large butterflies inked on her body and generally loves to incorporate them into her accessories as well as decor for her home. Back in 2012, she launched a collection called Crystal Flowers, which was inspired by art nouveau, fairies, and Tiffany lights.
Bibian believes that these influences have always been part of her heritage because she adored vintage fairy dresses. She began working extensively with digital printing because she wanted to create her own textures.
She added that "for that collection, we created a panel with different monarch wings in various colors and sizes, but we did not have the designs finalized yet; we just wanted lots of wings to see what they would look like."
