Taco Cart Owner Hits Back With Honest Business Costs After Customer Leaves Harsh One-Star Review

Online business reviews can be incredibly helpful. They can assist us in finding great products or services, and they can also help steer us away from the bad ones, saving us valuable time and money.

They can guide us in choosing the best places to go, especially when it comes to restaurants, helping us find the best and most reasonably priced places to eat. However, there is always at least one person out there who will leave a nasty review for little or no good reason.

Take this guy, for example. His original complaint was about a taco he purchased from a street cart, which he claimed had only "five pieces of meat" on it, along with some onions and cilantro.

He stated that the owner/server was unhelpful when confronted about it and that it simply wasn't good enough.

The thing is, he paid for his $1.68 taco with a credit card, which meant that the taco cart owner made next to no profit from that sale. He might as well have been giving him the taco for free.

This is something most consumers don't realize about how our cashless society hurts small businesses. The reality is, if they're barely making a quarter from your transaction, they're probably not going to be too concerned if you never return.
