For some people, having that hit tweet and going viral is the goal nowadays. Social media has definitely changed the way people view themselves, and there is always this urge to impress anyone and everyone on social media with how funny or interesting they are.

However, too much of it can make you look like a fool, to be honest. People on the Internet are not as easily fooled as some think they are, and sometimes, the things they post online receive the opposite kind of attention that they want.

It's easy to type up some impressive story or tweet online and plan out how you would go viral, but the real challenge is actually making people believe them. While it may be a good way to practice your creativity and imagination in making up fake scenarios, most of the time, people can see through the lies and the desperate efforts to make yourself go viral.

Some narratives posted online are so absurd and cringeworthy that you begin to wonder how desperate these people are to come up with them just to gain some kind of attention. From TikTok posts to tweets to Tumblr texts, you are sure to stumble upon a post that is so poorly planned that it’s almost funny to think about.
