The Digital Illustrations Of This Concept Artist Are Nothing Less Than Enchanting
This painter, named Devin Elle Kurtz, virtually goes by the name TamberElla and creates paintings that are nothing short of magical.
A very famous quote states, “A picture can paint a thousand words,” which is indeed true. Some painters work wonders with their art. One such talented artist with a great vision is Devin Elle Kurtz.
She goes by the name TamberElla online, and she is a concept artist, painter, and illustrator living in Burbank, California. As a toddler, her mother gifted her a Wacom Tablet along with Photoshop.
As she grew up, she learned how to read, write, and paint digitally. Instead of receiving coloring books to scribble on, she was given a tablet to draw, paint, and use Photoshop.
She says that painting is very comforting to her; it calms her down, and through digital art, she wants others to feel the calmness and peace that these art pieces provide her. As a child, she was inclined toward magic and had a strong belief that it existed; moreover, she was obsessed with Studio Ghibli movies about fantasy creatures like “My Neighbor Totoro.”
She loved being outdoors and enjoying the beauty of nature. In her teenage years, she became very ill and was diagnosed with a rare chronic illness called CVS.
Sketching and art seemed like the light at the end of the tunnel, pushing her forward and keeping her filled with positivity through her chronic episodes.
