Is It Wrong to Feel Jealous of My Girlfriend Using Playtomic to Find Male Padel Partners?
AITA for feeling jealous that my girlfriend is using Playtomic to find male partners for padel?
Some jealousy stories are messy and obvious, but this one starts with something way more innocent: padel. OP is 25 and has been dating his 24-year-old girlfriend for a year, and she’s seriously into the sport.
The complication is the app. She uses Playtomic to find doubles partners and practice matches, and somehow she keeps getting paired with guys. OP is trying to shrug it off as “just a game,” but the physical part, the high fives, and the friendly chatting after sessions makes his stomach twist.
Now he’s asking Reddit if he’s wrong for feeling jealous, even though she insists it’s no different than his friends.

Me 25M with gf 24F a year now. She loves padel, uses that app to find matches and keeps ending up with dudes for doubles or practice.
I get its just a game but the physical stuff high fives chatting after bugs me. Told her lightly she says chill out its like your friends.
Am I wrong ?

OP’s girlfriend keeps showing up for doubles and practice through Playtomic, and every time the “high five and chat after” routine happens, OP’s jealousy spikes.

OP says he only brought it up lightly, and her response was basically, “chill out,” because she thinks the app matches are the same as his friends.

That’s where the comments start circling the real issue, not padel itself, but whether those post-game interactions with the guys cross a line for him.

With OP stuck between “it’s just sport” and “why does it feel like more,” the thread turns into a debate about what counts as harmless and what counts as disrespect.

How would you handle this situation? Let us know in the comments.
He might not be wrong for feeling it, but his girlfriend might be wondering why he’s treating a padel pairing like a threat.
